Both of us are Speech and Language Pathologists and co-owners of Nurture Well Feeding and Communication, Speech, Language, and Swallowing Corporation. Feeding and Swallowing therapy is one of the services offered here at Nurture Well, through all stages of life. Feeding is the process that includes all aspects from gathering and preparing food and liquid for intake, sucking or chewing and swallowing.
Tethered oral ties can directly impact oral function. Identifying the impact on function due to the ties can be vital in the therapy process. Myofunctional theryapy (Myo), Oral Myofunctional Therapy (OMT), and Orofacial Myology. This therapy addresses incorrect lip and tongue postures at: rest, chewing, swallowing and during speech. Which ultimately effects overall mental and physical mental health.
All areas of speech pathology that you would expect from a clinic. We see pediatrics and adults for articulation, fluency, language, cognition, voice, aural reahbilitation, social communication and augmentative or alternative communication for therapies.

IEE Services
Not sure if your child needs therapy or not? Do you have questions and or concerns but not sure where to turn to, how to get started or what child language development should look like? This is the service for you. This is a 1:1 appointment to discuss your child.

This is a service for Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE) in the area of Speech and Language Impairment. Any parent of a child with a disability has the right to obtain an IEE at the publics expense if the parent disagrees with the evaluation obtained by the public agency.
